sepakbola.website – Houston Dynamo FC announced the winners of their 2021 club award season today with forward Fafa Picault earning three awards in his first season with the team. Picault was named Most Valuable Player, won the Golden Boot as the team’s top scorer and was voted by his teammates as Player of the Year.

Picault led the Dynamo to victory in the Texas Derby against FC Dallas on 18 September by tallying one assist and scoring the second goal of the game. With this victory, Houston was able to claim El Capitan for the first time since 2017. Teenage Defender Hadebe was named Defender of the Year and Newcomer of the Year.
Hadebe arrived at Dynamo on a full transfer from Yeni Malatyaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig on 28 June, helping the team to a clean sheet in his debut in a 0-0 draw with Vancouver Whitecaps on 20 July. Striker Griffin Dorsey won the Young Player of the Year award, which is given annually to the top player in the squad aged 23 or younger.
The 22-year-old finished with 20 consecutive appearances for the Dynamo after joining the team in testing in May and ending the year with two goals and three assists. Dorsey was awarded the MLS Team of the Week.
